Everyone knew my Grandmother as a kind and loving person

Geraldine Biffle Yannello maintained a studio near Detroit's Eastern Market and created the bulk of this artwork around the 1950's and 60's.  She had displays throughout Detroit including Detroit Institute of Art's rental gallery but no interest in commercial success. She instead focused on being a mother of two in the city married to a pharmacist, Paul Yannello, and the majority of her artwork has been in storage.

This site is to display her genius as a creative and modest woman with a simple and beautiful perspective on life.
